Air Traffic Corridor Featuring ZOA, ZLA, ZAB

Controllers: ZOA Hosts the Air Traffic Corridor featuring San Francisco Int. and
Oakland - Metropolitan Airport. The event is a FOUR (4) hour long event on Friday
October 5th, 2007 there will be 2 two hour long shifts. Sign Ups will be posted
tomorrow, Friday September 28, 2007. If you think you have what it takes than sign up.

"As the event grows, it is our hope that ARTCC's will be able to staff multiple airports within their ARTCC to allow participants to crisscross the ARTCC while encountering multiple layers of ATC and air traffic that will help simulate the look and feel of real world operations."

It’s our turn guys, I heard from some inside sources on how to make this event a success for all of us. Its time to show everyone what Oakland ARTCC is like; we’re going to show them that we kick butt. We have 9 positions to fill doesn’t sound like a lot but the more controllers the better off we will be. Don't think you will be controlling one position all night we are going to have relief controllers and shift changes. This will be a busy night not like or normal Friday night ops either. This Event is going to go down in VATUSA history. But there’s one Problem. We need Controllers the Sign-Ups will be posted on September 28, 2007.
