VATUSA is preparing for a grand series of events that should effect all ARTCCs.

America the Beautiful
The longest group flight ever to be performed as a VATUSA event, this event is for piston powered aircraft only. Seeking out the simply Private Pilot perhaps with an instrument rating, there will be two group flights flying cross-country, literally. The early-bird group leaves the east coast at 6am Eastern Time while the Brunch group leaves the west coast at 6am Pacific time. Each leg is between 250 and 500nm with a 30 minute stopover at each airport. You can fly all the legs or just join in when you can. Will anyone conquer the entire country?

Cross the Pacific
Beginning in Hawaii, pilots will navigate their way to the west coast: SEA, SFO, and LAX. With ATC the entire way, pilots will experience extreme realism from clearance to clock out.

Saturday Night Live
This evening event will feature the top ten airports in VATUSA as voted on by the pilots which include: SEA/SFO/LAX/LAS/DEN/ORD/ATL/MIA/JFK/BOS. This six hour event will hope to encourage pilots to fly between a few fully staffed airports. What's more to this event is that the America the Beautiful group flights will be ending at LAX and MIA respectively during the Saturday Night Live event. Two events in one! Actually, the Cross the Pacific group flights will be ending in LAX, SFO, and SEA during this event. So, three events in one!!!!
