This file appears to be truncated, just as it was getting good, too!

Oh Keith your one in a dozen, I pointed this out to Rob a few weeks ago and he was looking to see if it was backed up on CD since we were hacked a few weeks ago the back up on line is missing. I hope he is still looking for and can find this soon.

Its good to see that you are reading this material a lot of hard work went into creating it for the students to learn from.

Keith Im sure you have already looked this over but incase Ill add it here. It does not explain the Prefered Routes but may help to some degree until you can get with an instructor who can work with you.

Dan,

The material is fantastic. It's easy to read, flows very quickly, and is nicely formatted. I particularly like the sample conversations in red text. They stand out nicely. Every single "how do I..." question that I had before starting this process has been answered by the SOP's and training material.

At the risk of having large farming implements thrown at me, aside from the expected typos, I did notice a few places where Class E is referred to as 'uncontrolled' airspace. I think the spirit of the message is that it's NON-TOWERED. Uncontrolled airspace would be Class G.

One example is in SOP 3, section 5d.

This, mind you, from a guy who is yet to step into a tower  so feel free to tell me to buzz off. I'm just drawing on piloting references at this point.
