All,

I'm sure that I will be stating the obvious but we are still DREADFULLY short controllers for Cal screaming. As I see it (and I'm sure if I'm wrong someone else will correct my vision) we still need at least 4 more controllers to man SJC_APP & TWR, and RNO_APP and tower. Reno usually gets some decent traffic and SJC seems to in the beginning.

If we don't get more controllers on board soon the app and center controlers will certainly get their monies worth.

I don't even want to think about what if someone has to drop at the last minute or in the middle of the rush.

Sorry for venting
Rob L

We also need at least an approach controller at SMF. This would be our very minimum staffing for this event. SMF_APP can handle SMF airspace if they know the SOP.

GENTLEMEN, THIS IS A CALL TO ACTIVE DUTY!

WE HAVE 41 ACTIVE CONTROLLERS ON OUR GENERAL CONTROLLERS ROSTER AND WE ARE HAVING TO GO OUTSIDE TO GET ENOUGH CONTROLLERS FOR THIS CS9 EVENT.

We need you to sign up to be a part of the team here and support your fellow controllers. It is not important that you have experience working an event such as this one. If your affraid that you will be in over your head don't worry we all will be at one point or another. lol.

If your new or are affraid that this will be too hard then sign on at one of the slower fields. I promise there will be some traffic that will fly in and out for you. Remember there will be new pilots that want to fly this event also and many of them would appreciate a field that is not so busy to start out with.

So come on guys Sign Up and plan on having a great time. I have never talked to anyone that has said they did not have the time of their life at one of these CS events nor have they said they would not do it again.

So Lets show the flying world the ZOA Spirit and show them what we can do here in the ZOA.
