I realize we have many members who aren't in the SF Bay Area, but for those who are, or aren't too far away, how about we all get together for dinner some time?

It'll be great to put some faces to the names! Let's do something in a couple of weeks, who's in?

Sounds like a great idea, guys...I'm down in San Jose and would love to be part of any event you put together, even though I'm a relative newbie around here. :)

Depending on where you have it, it may just be a ferry ride for me. I'll be in SMF at the time, and as it's only a 40 mile drive to Vallejo, I could take the ferry straight to Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39, then try to make my way down. It all depends on where you may have it.

But name the time, and I'll see if this visiting smeghead from ZLA can make it. :)

Give me enough notice and I might be able to get a plane ticket and some time off from work to fly back to california :)

Speaking as an ZLA ex-patriot who went to the first 4 ZLA dinners, I can't tell you how GREAT it was to put a face with the name/callsign.

Especially the second one that was held at "ENCOUNTER'S" restaurant in the Theme building located in the center of KLAX. (you know, the STAR TREK looking building.

I agree with the scheduling of the event, sometime in May, in order to allow more people to attend.

I must say that meeting in person takes the level of commitment, and friendship, and mutual respect up quite a few notches. I've traveled many miles to attend these dinners, back then, and have NEVER been disappointed.

I urge all from ZOA, no matter how far away they may reside, to attend, eat drink & share a laugh in the company of each other.

Between CalTrain, BART, Muni, & Southwest Airlines, its not even remotely as dificult as one might think.

Even Brad Littlejohn can come, heheeeee.
