The position of Webmaster here at ZOA is open.
The responsibilities of the Webmaster include:
• Management of ZOA Website Design, Technology and Forum
• Working with the rest of the FAB to develop website tools
• Continually reviewing material on the website and keeping it up to date
• Other projects as assigned by ATM
Qualifications required:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Capable of working well in team oriented environment
* No Recent disciplinary action
* Knowledge of the ATC system
* Become a member of vZOA ARTCC
* An active presence controlling on VATSIM
* General knowledge of web design principles and technology
* Experience with and knowledge of PHP/MySQL
* Experience with and knowledge of HTML/CSS
Preferred:
* S3 Rating or higher
* Instructor or mentor experience on VATSIM
* Experience with and knowledge of Javascript/AJAX
* Web design/development experience
* Previous experience managing a website
* Experience moderating an online community
