Effective Immediately:
The training staff has voted to change the procedures for Performance Verification test. For those who are new or not familiar with this term, a PV is called an OTS by other ARTCC's and is the final test to determine whether a student is proficient to control a position unmonitored and without any Self Monitored Training restrictions.
In order to be eligible for a PV, the student must receive a recommendation from a Mentor/Instructor. Mentors are only able to conduct PV's on ground. Instructors are able to do PV's on any position.
