Mike Cassel and myself have made a minor amendment to the ZLA-ZOA Letter of Agreement. The amendment concerns section 2(b)(i) and 2(b)(ii). They now read:
b. ZOA shall route traffic bound to Los Angeles Center (including overflight traffic) as follows, providing at least 10 miles in trail (MIT) regardless of altitude between successive arrivals destined for the same airport:
i. Los Angeles International (KLAX), JETS: via AVE, thence via SADDE STAR (during east flows or noise abatement operations, via AVE, thence via MOORPARK STAR).
ii. Los Angeles International (KLAX), PROPS: via EHF or TTE, thence via KIMMO STAR.
Note the change, Jet aircraft will maintain the same route, AVE SADDE STAR, however PROP aircraft now shall be routed via EHF or TTE then the KIMMO STAR. This has been a standard procedure for a while now, but it was not in the LOA until now. Not a big change, but a step in the right direction for keeping things up to date. If there are any questions let me know.
