It gives me great pleasure to announce the selection of Paul Biderman as the next ATM of the Oakland ARTCC, to carry on the terrific job that David Carman turned in during his tenure as ATM. Paul is a long-time veteran of the network, going all the way back to 1998! He has held a number of positions, including DATM and ATM of ZAB, and earlier than that, DATM (Assistant Chief at that time) of ZOA, so he's no stranger to the ARTCC. He has also held VATUSA staff positions and is eminently qualified to take this post.

The ATM selection process is never taken lightly, nor without considerable research and assessment. I have every confidence that Paul will devote himself to the continued success of ZOA as one of the crown jewels of the western region.

I hope you will all give him your support and dedicate yourselves to working together to see ZOA continue to thrive.
