Hopped on last night at around 2200 local to try and get in a quick flight before bed. To my surprise, both ZLA and ZOA had at least CTR online, even so late on a weeknight. Hopped into the newly upgraded PMDG 737 (love this plane!) and did a quick flight from LAX up to Oakland. Keith was running _CTR and did a great job of getting me down quickly and efficiently at KOAK (love that visual 29 approach - great scenery all the way down), while also doing quite a bit of newbie education. I know I sure wouldn't have the patience to explain to someone how to a NAV radio that late at night. :)

Hi Tim,

Thanks a lot. The poor guy never did get to understand how to use a VOR. Just as we were getting close, ABQ_CTR came online and called him. We spent 15 mins just getting him to use private msgs properly :)
