Holy Cow, I almost didn't read this message because it was up in the pinned section.

Thanks everyone for the wishes. *^_^* Spent most of the day in class (with a physically strenuous team-building excersie in Team Skills) and came home and got socks (dress and casual), new set of bedsheets and the new Maroon 5 CD that I wanted. Very utilitarian presents, but at least they'll get used, right? ^_^

I guess joining up with ZOA (or probably many of the other virtual centers) is like being in a family, eh? ^_^

P.S. Yes, if you're doing the math, I am 29 and the FAA cutoff for ATC is your 31st birthday. So yes, I am shaving it close, but it's not impossible. Graduate in December, it leaves me about 18 months to get the phonecall. Shouldn't be a problem, as long as this current hiring freeze thaws sometime soon!
