Seeing the need for a Hawaiian based VA, Hawaiian Virtual was developed as a VA based on the real life operations of Hawaiian Airlines and started operations on May 26th, 2009, however development of our software platform has started long before. Hawaiian offers the aviation enthusiast many inter-island short hop flights with our Boeing 717-200 and flights to the west coast of the US and the Pacific using the Boeing 767-300ER. The Hawaiian fleet is set for massive expansion with the addition of the A330 and the A350 starting in spring 2010. As of now, HAL serves both KSFO and KOAK airports in the ZOA airspace.
Hawaiian also offers its pilots many more routes, destinations and aircraft type worldwide thru our partnership with 2 other VA's covering the US mainland and Europe.
